29.05.2012, the National beauty contest «Miss Azerbaijan» («Miss Azerbaijan» Milli Gözəllik Müsabiqəsi) was officially registered. Founder of the beauty contest «Miss Azerbaijan» - Anelya Ordukhanova received an exclusive certificate to hold a beauty contest with the name «Miss Azerbaijan» (Şəhadətnamə № 7192).
